Julius Caesar was famous for his quote, “Divide and Conquer.” He used that concept powerfully to win battles and ultimately launch an empire (though he was killed before he could be declared king or emperor).
Our enemy the devil also believes in dividing and conquering. While we run around trying to guard and build our own little kingdoms, he is not threatened. If we would but set aside our ego and pride and look for ways for us to connect and work together, we would see the power of God cause our community to flourish.
What would it take for us to work together to demonstrate the unity of the Kingdom of God in our community?
