As Gospel Rescue Mission, we exercise discretion in accepting contributions, gifts, or grants. We will only accept gifts that align consistently with our purpose and mission. Irrevocable gifts, whether outright or life-income in nature, will not be accepted if they would reasonably jeopardize the donor’s financial security.

We refrain from providing tax advice to donors and encourage them to seek guidance from their own professional advisers during the donation process. Gospel Rescue Mission accepts donations in the form of cash or publicly traded securities. Additionally, we consider in-kind services on a case-by-case basis.

For certain other gifts, such as real property, personal property, non-liquid securities, or contributions with restricted use, we conduct thorough reviews prior to acceptance. This ensures compliance with any special obligations or potential liabilities.

While we provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received as gifts, we do not ascribe a value to any receipt or other form of substantiation, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities.

We honor donor intent regarding restricted purposes and anonymity. For anonymous gifts, we limit information access to staff members with a genuine need to know.

Gospel Rescue Mission does not compensate third parties through commissions, finders’ fees, or other means for directing gifts or donors to our organization."
