Brett was born in 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri and before moving to Oklahoma in 1975 lived in California, Germany and Florida. Brett spent his high school years with the Treasure Lake Job Corps where he graduated in 1982 with my GED and auto mechanics. Brett also went to Bacone college for one year. Brett has one son and five grandchildren.

Brett is proud of his accomplishment is single parenting his son from the age of four.
Brett has maintained sobriety for over five years now and is a consistent volunteer at his local church at Jubilee Christian Center in Muskogee Oklahoma.
